The Fire Safe Council's mission is to preserve and enhance California's manmade and natural resources by providing leadership and support that mobilizes all Californians to protect their homes, communities and environment from wildfires.
The Fire Safe Council of San Diego County assists residents and communities throughout the region in raising the awareness of wildfire hazards and developing local Councils through:
- Coordinating multi-agency collaboration
- Education
- Community Wildfire Protection Plan guidance
- Public Relations
